Business Manager/Accountant - Compensation: DOE in Idaho Falls, Idaho

Rich Broadcasting is looking for a Business Manager/Accountant to oversee all financial transactions for its Southeast Idaho, Jackson and Sun Valley markets.  This is a hands-on, team-oriented position.  The ideal candidate must be able to manage sales revenue forecasting, billing and collections, payroll submission and accrual accounting.  In addition, qualified applicants must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, be attentive to detail and highly organized with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
? Provide financial support to the President, Market Manager, Sales Managers and Board Members of Rich Broadcasting
? Protect the FCC licenses for all Rich Broadcasting radio stations
?Analyze financial results and prepare reporting procedures on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
? Manage and develop all budget and cost containment procedures
? Review monthly financial close and prepare adjusting entries
? Process payroll including new hire paperwork, commission calculations, and talent/remote fees
?Manage accounts receivable process including billing, invoice generation, cash in advance processing, and assist sales with 
   collection issues
? Constant evaluation of expense controls and procedures
? Monitor account balances to ensure availability of funds, and manage accounts payable in timely and efficient  manner
? Represent Rich Broadcasting in the highest regard within the community and business environment
? Develop and maintain effective communications with both internal and external business partners
? Work in compliance with company policies and procedures
? Work on special projects and acquisitions as needed
 
QUALIFICATIONS
Work Experience Required
? A minimum of 1-3 years experience accounting or financial background
Preferred, But Not Required
? Experience working with radio stations or other media
Skills & Abilities Required
? Excellent communication skills, work well with others in a team oriented environment
? Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels
? Working knowledge and understanding of general ledger accounting
? Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Quick Books or other accounting software
? Demonstrated history of preparing and presenting financial statements
?             Excellent organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills
?             Ability to work under deadlines
?             Strong ethical business practices and ability to maintain confidentiality
?             Proven leadership qualities
Education Required
?  Accounting, Finance or Business degree
