Family office based in Idaho Falls, Idaho has a new position in its management group.  We are seeking a highly motivated Accountant who will be responsible for maintaining accounting, reporting and operational record-keeping processes for all cattle, horse and farming activities.  The right person will be a resourceful problem-solver and team player who thrives in a high-pressure environment.  A minimum of 2-4 years of financial management experience is required.
 
Responsibilities include:
Maintenance of general ledger
Maintenance of cattle, horse and farm records such as genetics, breeding, inventory and location of livestock
Accounts payable
Accounts receivable
Cash management
Provide support to management for budgeting & valuations
Joint Venture accounting
Assist management in operation of joint ventures and accountability of joint venture partners
Process documentation and suggestions for enhancements to processes and controls
Assist in horse and cattle auctions by receiving payments or otherwise supporting the sales
 
Reporting deliverables include:
Monthly financial statements for individual entities or divisions for review by management
Periodic requests by management and owner for information
Routine financial packages for lenders or joint venture partners
